She has performed at the Comedy Store in La Jolla, Annoyance Theatre in Chicago, Flappers Comedy Club, Tower City Comedy Festival, Burbank Comedy Festival, the State Fair of Texas, and was selected Best of Fest in 2024 at the Plano Comedy Festival. She was a finalist in the Funniest Stand-Up in Dallas Competition 2023 and finalist in the 2024 Funniest Comic with a Day Job Contest. Marissa has been featured twice in the Dallas Observer and was named a Stand-Up to keep on your Radar in 2024.

She has opened for Gary Vider, Beth Stelling, Natalie Cuomo, Marcella Arguello, Mitch Fatel, Andy Haynes, Pablo Francisco and Jim Florentine .
